Project Innovative fertigation technology in fruit and vine plantations specific to arid and dry sub-humid climate is a subproject of the Complex Project Innovative technologies for irrigation of agricultural crops in arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid climate SMARTIRRIG, Project ID: PN-III-P1-1.2-PCCDI-2017-0254, Contract No. 27PCCDI/2018. 3 phases are provided in the project implementation plan. They include:

Phase 1-5: Conceptual definition study of fertigation applicable to arid areas  
  Activity 1-1-5: Study on methods and techniques of irrigation / fertilization / fertigation of horticultural crops in arid areas
Phase 2-5: Research on the development of primary solution injection device EM  
  Activity 2-1-5: Design of primary solution injection device EM
Activity 2-2-5: Development of primary solution injection device EM
Activity 2-3-5: Optimization through modeling / simulation and experimental validation of primary solution injection device EM
Phase 3-5: Development of fertigation equipment Prototype  
  Activity 3-1-5: Elaboration of technical execution documentation of fertigation equipment Prototype (injection device, connecting pipe, system for controlling and monitoring of working parameters)
Activity 3-2-5: Development of fertigation equipment Prototype
Activity 3-3-5: Testing of fertigation equipment under real operating conditions
Activity 3-4-5: Protecting of Intellectual Property Rights (filing a patent application for the injection device)
