RESEARCHES REGARDING THE CONVERSION, ACCUMULATION, AND REUSAGE OF THE HYDROSTATIC ENERGY IN HYDRAULIC DRIVES - CONVEH

At national level research within this field was severely diminished after 1980 as a result of lack of demands from behalf industrial agents. Within technological-industrial area manufacture level fell at about 15% from the level of 1990. Nevertheless inside our country axial piston pumps are still being produced at I.Mecanica –Plopeni, blade pumps are sporadically under production at HESPER- Bucharest, membrane accumulators with balloon and piston, are developed at HERVIL –Rm. Vâlcea and HESPER – Bucharest.
At world level science and technology have developed quite fast both asd to the equipment and systems. Companies such as Bosch Rexroth, Parker Abex, Atos, Duplomatic, Moog have in production the following novelties connected to the theme of this project:
- supply of sub ensembles for electro pumps, distribution and adjustment units etc.;
- supply of units with axial pistons with high adjustment angles, with pressure up to 400 bar and flow capacity up to 1500l/min;
- variation of constructive solutions for accumulators, improvement of their safety although pressure was increased up to 400 bar;
- wide utilization of electronics and informatics to obtain energetically optimal systems;
- wide utilization of load-sensing systems.
Information provided by National Professional Association of Hydraulics and Pneumatics in Romania – FLUIDAS reveals lately a decrease in professional level both in execution and conceiving stages. Risks arise for us not to be able to maintain and repair imported equipment. Present project, among other benefits, has also the advantage of keeping up with the international trend.
Novelty level
Novelty consists in those innovative solutions this project brings in analysing each piece of equipment (pumps, engines, accumulators, control systems, load sensing systems) and then inserting them in the functional ensamble. Project novelties can be considered especially at national level and regard equipment which is modern as to its system. It is a modern approach in our country rerserch field to deal with energetical improvement ; this will allow for hydraulic equipment users to select from the beginning those proper solutions in developing installations.
Project complexity level
Complexity of the proposed solutions consists in the complexity of hydraulic control and actuation systems, which in addition to mechanics and hydraulics facts also require lots of electronics and informatics, as well as general technical knowledge. A hydraulic installation can not be repaired or maintained only on the basis of old knowledge in mechanics. Any modern hydraulic installation also comprises a control, adjustment and intervention computer.
This project is a complex one also through its intention to connect technology with the constructive functional solutions of the hydraulic equipments.
