In the laboratory
research activities are performed in the field of sealing elements
and working fluids:
a. - research
on influences and compatibility between the application and technical
possibilities of sealing elements, relationships between profiles,
seats, fluids, working speed, material, roughness, pressure, temperature,
etc.
b. - research on the use of novel sealing materials, new sealing
profiles, sealing under conditions imposed by non-typical parameters
( pressure, working speed, non-standardized size), sealing without
contact, sealing with magnetic fluids
c. - research on development of sealing required by European environmental
standards and solutions for environmental action systems in the
event of damage (e.g. devices that notify the loss of fluid in
the system through changes in flow or pressure and enable operation
only for the machine's displacement and direction parts in order
to reach the workshop).
d. - research on development of new working fluids with required
properties (hardly inflammable, biodegradable)
e.- activities for harmonization with European standards
f. - research on the influence of working fluids upon the environment
(soil, plants, animals)
