Abstract (in romana)

In contextul adancirii crizei energetice si alimentare la nivel mondial, utilizarea in procesele de productie din agricultura a energiilor curate, cresterea independentei energetice in raport cu sistemul energetic national si a eficientei energetice a echipamentelor de procesare au devenit procupari majore ale lucratorilor din domeniu.
Proiectul vizeaza realizarea unui uscator convectiv destinat procesarii produselor vegetale din flora spontana (fructe de padure, ciuperci, plante medicinale si aromatice) in imediata apropiere a locurilor de recoltare, izolate si fara acces la reteaua de energie electrica.

Metoda conservarii produselor vegetale prin inactivare enzimatica (deshidratare) este apreciata de specialistii din domeniu ca fiind cea mai eficienta si cea mai sanatoasa metoda de conservare pe termen lung, care confera siguranta alimentara consumatorilor. Prin deshidratare, produsele isi concentreaza intens proprietatile nutritive si organoleptice, avand un continut de principii active mai mare decat cele proaspete.
Tehnologia conservarii produselor vegetale prin deshidratare influenteaza semnificativ posibilitatea pastrarii produselor procesate in depozit, umiditatea finala ajungand la 6%; echipamentul care va fi dezvoltat prin proiect va facilita transportul prin reducerea masei de 8 pana la 10 ori, respectiv a volumului de 3 pana la 4 ori.
Energia termica necesara procesului de deshidratare va fi produsa cu ajutorul unui generator termic cu functionare pe principiul TLUD, din biomasa existenta la nivel local. Schimbatorul de caldura, de tip aer-aer, va furniza un agent de uscare curat (aer cald), cu implicatii majore privind sanatatea consumatorilor.
Energia electrica necesara functionarii ventilatorului, modulului electronic de monitorizare a parametrilor de lucru si comanda a elementelor de actionare (actuatori electrici) va fi furnizata de un panou fotovoltaic de ultima generatie.

Abstract (in engleza)

In the context of deepening global energy and food crisis, the use of clean energy in agricultural production processes, increasing energy independence in relation to the national energy system and energy efficiency of processing equipment have become major concerns of workers in the field.
The project proposal, elaborated in a consortium formed by an SME and two research institutes, aims at the realization of a convective dryer intended for processing the vegetal products from the spontaneous flora (berries, mushrooms, medicinal and aromatic plants) in the immediate vicinity of the collection places, isolated and without access to the electricity network.
The method of preserving plant products by enzymatic inactivation (dehydration) is appreciated by specialists in the field as the most efficient and healthiest method of long-term preservation, which ensures food safety of consumers. By dehydration, the products intensely concentrate their nutritional and organoleptic properties, having a higher content of active principles than fresh ones.
The technology of preserving vegetable products by dehydration significantly influences the possibility of keeping processed products in storage, the final humidity reaching 6%; the equipment to be developed under the project will facilitate the transport by reducing the mass and the volume by 8 to 10 times, and by 3 to 4 times, respectively.
The thermal energy necessary for the dehydration process will be produced with the help of a thermal generator operating on the TLUD principle, from the biomass existing at the scene. The air-to-air heat exchanger will provide a clean drying agent (hot air), with major implications for consumer's health.
The electrical energy necessary for the operation of the fan, the electronic module for monitoring the working parameters and the control of the execution elements (electric actuators), will be provided by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic panel.


Obiectivul proiectului (in romana)

- promovarea tehnologiilor energetice curate, a masurilor de protectie a mediului si a reducerii emisiilor de gaze cu efect de sera, respectiv a conceptului de siguranta alimentara, prin implementarea celei mai moderne si sanatoase metode de conservare a produselor vegetale - inactivarea enzimatica;
- racordarea rezultatelor cercetarii aplicative, desfasurate in cadrul proiectului, la prioritatile ariei europene de cercetare pentru progres tehnologic in Romania, respectiv cresterea vizibilitatii si prestigiului parteneriatului pe arena internationala;
- stimularea unui parteneriat pentru scurtarea drumului de la cunoasterea stiintifica din domeniul uscatoarelor convective la elaborarea unor tehnologii si echipamente performante, cu impact socio-economic semnificativ, in concordanta cu nevoile si evolutia pietei;
- atragerea de finantari viitoare, ca urmare a performantelor tehnice ale produsului realizat, respectiv stiintifice, prin diseminarea rezultatelor cercetarii, in vederea realizarii unor noi cercetari generatoare de inovatie tehnologica in domeniul abordat de proiect;
- stimularea cresterii investitiilor sectorului privat in CDI, atat in cadrul propriilor activitati, cat si in colaborare cu entitati de cercetare, in vederea facilitarii finalizarii si transferului rezultatelor catre piata.

Obiectivul proiectului (in engleza)

- promoting the clean energy technologies, environmental protection measures and reducing the greenhouse gas emissions, in this case the concept of food safety, by implementing the most modern and healthy method of preserving plant products - enzymatic inactivation;
- connecting the results of the applied research, carried out under the project, to the priorities of the European research area for technological progress in Romania, in particular, increasing the visibility and prestige of the partnership in the international arena;
- stimulating a partnership to shorten the path from scientific knowledge in the field of convective dryers to the development of high-performance technologies and equipment, with significant socio-economic impact, in line with market needs and evolution;
- attracting future funding, as a result of the technical and scientific performance of the product, by disseminating the research results, in order to carry out new research generating technological innovation in the field approached by the project;
- stimulating the growth of private sector investments in R&D&I, both within their own activities and in collaboration with research entities, in order to facilitate the completion and transfer of results to the market.
